A longtime tradition of Gladstone Theatre in the Park is the infamous chair run. This run has even been featured on the local news. Around 3pm on showdays, friends and families of Gladstone Theatre in the Park line up from the shelter house to the parking lot. Precisely at 3pm (a countdown and even a starter pistol has been used) these friends and family run to put down chairs and blankets for that evenings performance.
